Youth Assembly on the 24th of September about the youth centres
A youth forum will be held at Flensburg School on Tuesday, 24th September at 5 p.m. Pizza will be provided. Radio presenter Guðjón Smári from FM957 will lead the discussion.
Youth Forum for 16-24 year-olds in Flensburg
Ahhhh, pizzas and effects! Isn't that something? „Would you like to play music and have space for the instruments?“ asks Gudjón Smári, the FM957 radio presenter who is leading a discussion at the youth parliament to be held at Flensborgarskóli on Tuesday, 24th September at 5 p.m.
Young people aged 16-24 have the opportunity to design their own youth centre. They can say what they want in it and what they don't want in it at the parliament. We therefore encourage everyone to make their mark on the issue. It matters.
Two new youth centres
Two new youth centres are poised to open for young people in Hafnarfjörður. One of them is in the old Lækjarskóli school, the Innovation Centre. The focus there will be on the arts and creativity. A day centre for disabled young people who have finished secondary school will then be set up at Selhellu 7, which is also home to the Hafnarfjörður Skateboarding Association. There will also be group and social activities for various groups in the evenings.
More than half as much space as before in the town's Youth Centres. The service will be more varied and opening hours will be longer overall. „We want to hear how you, the young people, think the service can be improved,“ says Geir Bjarnason, the sports and leisure officer for the City of Hafnarfjörður.
