Eight bids from seven legal entities

In early September,
Hafnarfjörður invites tenders for six multi-unit housing plots in Phase 1 of Skarðshlíð., a neighbourhood sheltered from the south by a slope and
on the west side of Ásfjall. The deadline for bids was midday on Tuesday, 20 September.
and eight bids for the plots were received from seven legal entities.

This concerns six plots for 18 blocks of flats.
with a total of 167 dwellings. Submissions for the multi-dwelling unit plots were received from

Work is currently underway on the assessment and
Review of the bids received for the plots based on the specified tender conditions.
The total area in question is 30 hectares in size up the slope to the south and
on the western side of Ásfjall. An area higher up the slope, intended for detached, semi-detached and terraced houses, is
in a design and planning process which is scheduled to conclude at the beginning of the new year.
