A Cleaner Challenge for Businesses
Containers will be available at three locations in Hafnarfjörður on 4 and 5 May. Employees of businesses and institutions, together with students and teachers of all school levels in Hafnarfjörður, are encouraged as part of a clean-up campaign to take a close look at their local surroundings and to give special attention to cleaning.
A clean Hafnarfjörður… with everyone's participation!
An annual clean-up campaign in Hafnarfjörður will take place from 2nd to 11th May. During these days, council staff will be busy cleaning throughout Hafnarfjörður, and at the same time, employees of businesses and institutions in Hafnarfjörður are urged to take an active part by cleaning within their own grounds and in their immediate surroundings.
Containers at three locations in Hafnarfjörður
On Friday, 5th May, staff of businesses and institutions, along with pupils and teachers of all school levels in Hafnarfjörður, are encouraged to look at their local environment and to carry out a special clean-up. Containers will be placed at three locations in Hafnarfjörður, and are intended primarily for the disposal of timber and metal from businesses in each respective area. Containers will be on site for two full days – Thursday 4th May and Friday 5th May. Of course, businesses can choose other dates during the period – the main thing is to get involved!
Companies are strongly encouraged to make use of this service.
