Due to asphalting works on 6 September, Krýsuvíkurvegur is partially closed on the section between the roundabout at Hraunhella/Hellnahraun I and the turning to Hvaleyrarvatn.

During asphalting works on 6 September, Krýsuvíkurvegur is closed to
part, on the stretch of road between the roundabout at Hraunhellu/Hellnahraun I on the one hand
and a spur to Hvaleyrarvatn, however. Vehicle traffic will be directed onto
a by-road via Selhraun and Velli, i.e. via Hraunhella and Ásbraut to
Krysuvíkurvegur. Diversions are signposted while works are in progress.
The closure is expected to last for one day.
