Hlíðarendi Nursery School – extension

The Municipality of Hafnarfjörður invites tenders for the construction of an extension to the Hlíðarendi nursery school at Úthlíð 1 in Hafnarfjörður, including the demolition of part of the existing nursery building, internal alterations, and the landscaping of the grounds surrounding the extension.
The extension is approximately 70m² in size and is constructed with lightweight timber external walls, clad externally with stone panels, and a conventional gable roof clad with felt and corrugated iron on a cast-in-situ concrete foundation and base slab.
The nursery will remain fully operational during the construction period.
Key dates:
- Field inspection: 25 February 2019
- Plot completion: 15 September 2019
- Project completion: 15 December 2019
