A fun tradition has developed in recent years of holding a putting competition at Hrafnista in Hafnarfjörður, where the Hafnarfjörður town council and the mayor have competed against the residents for a handsome travelling trophy. As has often been the case, the Hrafnista team emerged victorious today with 103 strokes, compared to the town council's 109, and the margin between the teams has rarely been so small. Mayor Rósa Guðbjartsdóttir came first in the women's category, and this year it was none other than Councillor Guðlaug Kristjánsdóttir who received the Skussaverðlaunin for the best use of the course. They received their awards from the tournament director, Helena Björk Jónasdóttir.
