Draft report on city centre planning – deadline extended

The deadline for comments on the draft report from the working group on the planning of Hafnarfjörður's town centre has been extended until 4 October.

Until 4 October 2019, residents and other interested parties have the opportunity to submit comments and additions to the draft report from the working group on the planning of Hafnarfjörður's town centre. It is important to note that the drawings currently available are not part of the working group's work or proposals. They need to be further developed in line with the brief proposed by the working group in its report, and residents and other interested parties now have an opportunity to influence this. All work on the town centre's planning is still at the concept stage.

You can also submit suggestions on the consultation platform. A Better Hafnarfjörður , by email to hafnarfjordur@hafnarfjordur.is or by post to Hafnarfjörður Municipality, Strandgata 6, 220 Hafnarfjörður, by 4 October 2019. At its meeting on 15 August 2019, the City Council decided to extend the consultation period until 4 October 2019.  At its meeting on 18 September 2019, the City Council of Hafnarfjörður decided to extend the comment period until 4 October.
