Study Support at Hafnarfjörður Library
The Red Cross's homework club at Hafnarfjörður Library is back in full swing after the summer holidays. The club is for all children in years 1-10 and takes place every Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The Red Cross's homework club at Hafnarfjörður Library is back in full swing after the summer holidays. The club is for all children in years 1-10 and takes place every Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The aim is to support children in their studies.
The Red Cross Homework Help project is a collaboration between the Hafnarfjörður Library and the Red Cross in Hafnarfjörður and Garðabær. The homework help is for all children in years 1 to 10. The aim of the project is to support the children in their studies and to introduce them to the library's services in relation to their studies and hobbies.
The homework help will be on Tuesdays between 15:00 and 17:00 in the multi-purpose room of Hafnarfjörður Library (go down the stairs by the children's and young people's section). Red Cross volunteers welcome students and help with their homework. The volunteers are mostly primary and/or secondary school teachers with different specialisations and experience.
