TÍST day at Lækjarskóli
On Thursday, 10th October, some staff from Lækjarskóli will allow interested Twitter users to get a behind-the-scenes look at the school, tweet from a typical school day and make a vibrant and lively job more visible to the outside world.
The school community in Hafnarfjörður is bustling with life and activity every day, and the autumn has got off to an exceptionally good start. Projects at both school stages are varied, and no two days are the same. On Thursday, 10th October, a group of staff from Lækjarskóli in Hafnarfjörður will be giving interested Twitter users a behind-the-scenes look at primary school life, live-tweeting a typical school day and making a vibrant and lively profession more visible to the wider world.

On Thursday, 10 October, some of the staff of the School of Medicine will be tweeting on Twitter under the hashtag #einnskóladagur and #lærumílækjó. The aim of the initiative is to make a typical day in school life more visible to the outside world, as there is usually a great deal going on in the play and work of pupils and staff. From the moment staff and pupils arrive at school and hang up their outdoor clothes, to breakfast, lessons, break times, lunch, meetings and all sorts of project work. In this way, the everyday life of the school, which is wonderful as it is, is captured on film.
We encourage everyone who is interested to observe a typical day in school life!
