Zoning amendment
At a meeting of the Planning and Building Committee of Hafnarfjörður on 27 August 2019, it was resolved to advertise a proposal for amendments to the detailed plan for Hellnahraun, Phase 2, which concerns the plots at Álfhella 10 and Einhella 7, in accordance with paragraph 1 of Article 43 of the Planning and Building Act no. 123/2010.
The change consists of: The plots at Álfhella 10 and Einhella 7 are combined. The building plots are altered. Driveways are added at Dranghella. The roof height of the house will be 10.5m instead of 8.5m. It will be permitted to have balconies extending up to 2m beyond the building line. The plot ratio will be 0.3 instead of 0.5. In all other respects, the terms of the local plan shall apply.
The proposals will be on display at the Hafnarfjörður Service Centre, Strandgata 6, and at the Department of Environment and Planning, Norðurhellu 2, from 18 October to 29 November 2019.

Those who consider themselves to have an interest are given the opportunity to make comments on the amendment, which must be submitted in writing to the Environment and Planning Department of Hafnarfjörður no later than 29 November 2019.
