Sambo is a blend of a self-defence sport and a combat sport that traces its origins to Russia. The sport is in many ways similar to judo and takes place
on the mat. Sambo 80 has already begun introducing and training in self-defence at the town's primary schools, giving the youngest year groups the opportunity to learn self-defence. At the same time, the sport empowers the children.
both physically and mentally. The aim of the City of Hafnarfjörður with partnership agreements is to
to increase the provision and accessibility of sports and leisure activities for residents, and this is
A good addition to the sporting facilities already available in Hafnarfjörður.

The contract can be accessed under clause 6 below.
