Yellow weather warning for heavy rain
Attention is drawn to the poor weather forecast, as strong southeasterly winds or a storm are predicted for the capital region this evening and night (Sunday morning), with heavy rain and milder weather. Significant melting, increased runoff and rises in rivers and streams are expected. There is a risk of severe icy conditions where rain falls on slushy or compacted snow.

According to the Met Office forecast, gales/storms will be in effect from 11 p.m. tonight until 6 a.m. tomorrow morning (Sunday), during which time a yellow warning will be in force for the capital region.
