Cross-country ski trails at Hvaleyrarvöllur
The weather is good for winter sports at the moment, and now the Keilir Golf Club, in collaboration with the City of Hafnarfjörður, has laid out two cross-country ski trails at Hvaleyrarvöllur. Two loops have been groomed: a short track on the front nine (the lava field) and a longer one on Hvaleyrarvöllur. It is not possible to lay out longer tracks at present as there is insufficient snow, but if more snow falls in the coming days, the tracks will be re-groomed.
