The Better Room opened in December on the seventh and top floor of the Fjarðar shopping centre's north tower. It is a space with an unconventional, cosy set-up for people who want to be able to work, use meeting rooms and, after the working day, have the opportunity to enjoy an evening socialising in the same place with friends and/or colleagues.
Flexible workplace and working in a beautiful environment
With changing priorities during the COVID era, there are many opportunities in people wanting more flexible workplaces and even being able to do without a conventional office. The aim of running Betri Stofan is to create a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere where customers can come early in the morning for a coffee and work in a beautiful environment with an incredible view over the harbour and out to sea. Our beautiful town of Hafnarfjörður is seen in a completely new light.
Several meeting rooms for 8 to 12 people are available. In the evenings, there is a lounge atmosphere with events, lectures, happy hour and more. Guests can also order food from excellent nearby restaurants, such as KRYDD in the neighbouring building. Until the New Year, Betri Stofan is open to everyone. From then on, applications for membership will be accepted, which will become a requirement after the New Year.
