Family workshop in the Packhouse

On Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th October from 11 am to 1 pm, we invite children and their families to take part in two workshops:

🧵 Pinocchio: In the old days, people made their own stuff. We recommend having a look at the toy exhibition in the attic and then making your own puppet to take home.

🤾 Handball shirts in a bind: After viewing the exhibition The handball town of Hafnarfjörður You can design your own jersey on paper, a front and back in your colours and with your favourite number.

Best suited for 6–12 year olds and their families. Admission is free. All are welcome!

The Packhouse is part of the Hafnarfjörður Folk Museum and will be open on 26-27 October from 11 am to 3 pm.

Family workshop at Pakkhúsið

On Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 October, from 11am to 1pm, children and their families are invited to take part in two workshops:

🧵 Clothespin dolls: In the old days, people made their own toys. We recommend visiting our toy exhibition in the attic, then try making your own clothespin doll to take home.

🤾 Handball jerseys on clothes pegs: After looking at the exhibition titled Hafnarfjörður: The Handball Town Design your own paper jersey, front and back, in your own colours with your favourite number.

Best suited for ages 6–12 and their families. Free admission. Everyone is welcome!

Pakkhúsið is part of the Hafnarfjörður Museum (Byggðasafn Hafnarfjarðar) and will be open on 26-27 October from 11:00 to 15:00.
