Friday, 13 November at 6 p.m. will the guitarists Björn Thoroddsen and Andrés Þór They will be performing at the next Afternoon Concert in Hafnarborg. At the concert, they will present a varied programme where jazz standards and well-known pop hits are given a new lease of life in arrangements for two guitars.

Björn and Andrés are both experienced guitarists who have had wide-ranging careers in music. They share strong roots in jazz, whilst also drawing inspiration from a variety of musical genres. In this concert, they will bring together different styles and approaches in a live interplay, where improvisation, melody and a love of playing will take centre stage.

The concert lasts for about an hour and is free of charge.
