  Thórður Sverrisson, a consultant at Capacent Consulting, attended the meeting and went over the project and the work plan for the strategic work.

• 0702340 – Relocation of pontoon, slipway, 31 Óseyrarbraut etc.

  Hafnarstjórn telur að undir engum kringumstæðum verði við unað, að kvíin verði við Háabakka fram til 1.ágúst 2008, og felur hafnarstjóra að ræða við forsvarsmenn Vélsmiðju Oorms og Víglundar ehf. um aðra tímasetningu. %0DMálið verður tekið fyrir að nýju á fundi hafnarstjórnar milli jóla og nýárs.

• 0712140 – New tariff schedule from 1 January 2008

  A proposal for the tariff of Hafnarfjörður Harbour from 1 January 2008 was presented.

  The Harbour Board approves the proposed tariff, which comes into effect on 1 January 2008, with minor amendments to be incorporated.

• 0712154 – Rescue Squad of Hafnarfjörður

  The harbour master outlined an agreement between the town, the harbour and the rescue team from 2005. He also presented an overview of the harbour's grants and the rescue team's claims.

  The Harbour Board agrees, with reference to the existing agreement, that half of the cost of monitoring the arrival of cruise ships will be paid, and that half of the cost is covered by the agreement.

• 0710118 – Óseyrarbraut 8 - 10 and 12 - 14

  A submission from JS Fasteignar, dated 18th, is presented. December 2007, signed by Svavar Þorsteinsson and, together with drawings, requesting that the building density for the premises at Óseyrarbraut 8–10 be increased to 0.55 and that a frontage of 16 metres in height be permitted, instead of 13 metres in accordance with local plan.

  The Harbour Board postpones a decision on the matter but agrees that the harbour master will speak with the planning and building officer regarding the streetscape of Óseyrarbrautin.
