  A letter from the Ministry of Education, dated 9 November 2007, was presented, introducing an agreement on the screening rights for the films of Friðrik Þór Friðriksson in the country's schools. The letter states that schools are encouraged to use the films in teaching Icelandic literature and film studies.

  The Planning and Building Committee requests the opinion of the Education Committee on the application from Nova Ltd. for a licence to install mobile phone equipment, namely a roof-top mast and technical equipment in a storage room on the 2nd floor of Kríuás 1.

  Fræðsluráð vísar drögum að fjárhagsáætlun fyrir árið 2008 og tillögum til frekari yfirferðar og afgreiðslu í bæjarráði og bæjarstórn.%0D%0DLögð fram tillaga foreldraráðs um fræðslu og vettvangsferðir. Fræðsluráð þakkar þá hvatningu sem fram kom í framlögðu erindi en í tillögum að drögum að fjárhagsáætlun 2008 er gert ráð fyrir tæplega 17 milljóna króna framlagi til skólanna vegna vettvangs- og fræðsluferða.%0D%0D%0D%0D
