  A conference organised by the social welfare director was presented.

• 0709244 – The Capital Region Police, law enforcement in municipalities

  The Capital Region Police are inviting representatives from the City of Hafnarfjörður to an information meeting to review matters relating to the cooperation between the parties and the experience of the merger of the police districts in the capital region. The meeting will take place in the Old Library on 31 October.

  The next meeting of the prevention committee will be this meeting.

  Forvarnafulltrúi kynnti samstarf Hafnarfjarðarbæjar við Foreldrahús/Vímulausa æsku.%0D%0DÞessir aðilar standa fyrir sjálfstyrkingarnámskeiðum í Gamla bókasafninu í samstarfi við námsráðgjafa grunnskólanna. Í Gamla bókasafninu er útibú frá Foreldrahúsinu með skrifstofu og fundaraðstöðu. Percy Stefánsson ráðgjafi starfar einu sinni í viku á mánudögum frá 12:00-15:00 í Gamla bókasafninu á vegum Foreldrahúss. Hann veitir foreldrum barna í vímuefnaneyslu ráðgjöf og stuðning.   Margrét Gauja Magnúsdóttir and Jón Páll Hallgrímsson from the working group on improved skateboarding facilities in Hafnarfjörður attended the meeting and presented the group's main findings.

  The Prevention Committee welcomes the group's ideas and believes they are well aligned with the prevention policy of Hafnarfjörður.
