  A map of the area was presented. The matter was previously on the agenda of the Environment Committee/SD on 17 October.

  The committee requests that draft terms of reference for a design competition on the use of the meadow be prepared by the Department of Planning and Building.

• 0710231 – Ástjörn bird counts.

  A report on bird counts at Ástjörn 2004–2006, dated October 2007. Authors: Jóhann Óli Hilmarsson and Ólafur Einarsson.

  The committee refers the report for presentation to the Planning and Building Committee. The committee postpones a decision on the matter.

• 0710232 – Terms of Reference of the Environment Committee/sd21

  Bjarki Jóhannesson, Director of the Planning and Building Department, presents the terms of reference for the Environment Committee/sd21.

  Recommendations of the working group on improved skateboarding facilities in Hafnarfjörður. Report of the working group, dated October 2007.

  Submitted. The committee requests that a representative of the working group attend the next committee meeting to present the report.

  Talk by the Viking Circle about the outdoor artwork at Straum. The talk is being recorded as an exception.
