  1. General presentations

    • 0701391 – School project, a joint project of the Municipality of Hfj., the Ministry of Social Affairs and the City of Reykjavík.

      The representative for democracy and equality reported on the status of the project. It is planned to appoint a project manager from 1 October 2007.

      The Democracy and Equality Committee approved a grant of 400,000 kr. for the project for the year 2007.

    • 0701205 – Newcomers' broadcast.

      Einar Skúlason from the International House and Halldór Árni from Flensborg School attended the meeting. Discussions about the future format of the new arrivals' radio programme.

      The outcome of the meeting was that Alþjóðahús and Flensborgarskólinn will draw up a draft agreement in the very near future.
