• 0707120 – Maintenance of green areas in the municipality of Hafnarfjörður

  A letter dated 10 July from Björn Bögeskov Hilmarsson, Gardener to the City of Hafnarfjörður, and Ellert B. Magnússon, Director of Youth Affairs and the Work School, was presented, proposing changes to the arrangements for the maintenance of green spaces in the town.

  The Town Council agrees to instruct the Director of the Operations Department and the Director of the Family Services Department, in collaboration with the Clerk, to formulate further proposals regarding these matters for the consideration and approval of the 2008 budget.

• 0705189 – Gjáhella 17, name change on the allocation.

  A letter dated 18th May from Hólshúsar ehf., reg. no. 510604-2450, was presented, requesting that the plot no. 17 at Gjáhella be transferred to the limited liability company Gjáhella 17 ehf., reg. no. 520607-0560, which is owned by the same parties.

  The Town Council approves the application.

  Application from Sigurður Haraldsson, Director of the Hafnarfjörður Real Estate Society, dated 19 July, is presented, applying on behalf of the municipality for the plot at Hvannavellir 1 for the construction of a nursery school.

  The town council, acting on behalf of the municipal council, agrees to allocate the plot at Hvannavellir No. 1 for the construction of a nursery school, in accordance with the detailed conditions to be set by the planning and building officer.

• 0707141 – Bjarkavellir 3, Fasteignafélag Hafnarfjarðar is applying for the plot.

  Application from Sigurður Haraldsson, Director of the Hafnarfjörður Real Estate Society, dated 19 July, is presented, applying on behalf of the municipality for the plot at Bjarkavellir 3 for the construction of a nursery and primary school.

  The town council, acting on behalf of the municipal council, agrees to allocate the plot at Bjarkavellir No. 3 for the construction of a nursery and primary school, in accordance with the further conditions to be set by the planning and building officer.

• 0703148 – Hellnahraun 3, application for a plot for commercial activities.

  A letter from Sól ehf. and Emmessís hf. dated 10 July was presented, in which the companies request a future plot of land in Hafnarfjörður for their business activities.

• 0707013 – Einivellir 3, plot application

  A letter from Nýsi Development Company, dated 29 June, was presented regarding plot no. 3 at Einivellir for the construction of care flats for the elderly.

  The plot is not available for allocation at this time.

• 0703032 – Stables by Kaplaskeið, site application.

  A letter from Davíð Þór Bjarnason, reg. no. 250669-3809, dated 10 July, was presented, in which, among other things, it is requested that the stables plots at Kaplaskeið be re-advertised, as a proposal for a new detailed plan for the area is on the table.

  The Town Council refers to its previous resolutions to the effect that the aforementioned planning applications were renewed last year, in particular due to proposals for changes to the detailed plan, and that the application deadline set at that time has now expired.
