• 0701138 – Future harbour area.

  A working group of the harbour board, in its review of the future harbour area of the Port of Hafnarfjörður, presented a draft interim report on the harbour area west of Straumsvík. The Chairman of the Harbour Board, Eyjólfur Sæmundsson, the Harbour Master and Sigurður Sigurðarson from the Maritime Administration reviewed and explained the contents of the draft report.

  The Harbour Board agrees to instruct the working party to continue working on this matter and also to consider the potential use of the area east of Straumsvík.

• 0705309 – Damage to the western end of the South Bank

  Hafnarstjóri greindi frá skemmd á vesturenda Suðurbakka. %0DEnnfremur gerði hann grein fyrir athugnum Verkfræðistofunnar Strendings og tillögum um viðgerð.

  The Harbour Board agrees to proceed with the repairs as soon as possible, in accordance with the recommendations of Strending ehf.

  The Harbour Board agrees to postpone the discussion until the next meeting.

• 0701311 – Cuxhavengata 1 building height increase

  A request was submitted, together with a statement from the tenant of the plot at Cuxhavengata 1, to change the tenant of the plot, so that Klettar ehf takes over the plot lease agreement from Sýningarljósum slf.

  The Harbour Board agrees that Klettar ehf shall take over the lease agreement for Cuxhavengata 1, subject to the fulfilment of all formal conditions.

• 0702364 – 100th anniversary of the Port of Hafnarfjörður.

  The forthcoming 100th anniversary of the harbour on 1 January 2009 was discussed.
