• Annual report of the Hafnarfjörður Theatre 2006

  Bill presented.

  A legal opinion is requested from the city's operations team, and they are to review the accounts. The committee also requests that a representative from the operations team and the director of the Hafnarfjörður Theatre attend the next meeting when the annual accounts are again under discussion.

• 0706082 – Information board in Hellisgerði about elves and folklore.

  Report on signs to be erected in Hellisgerði, subject to the approval of the Operations Department. A proposal for their design and text was presented.

• 0704265 – Tourism Sector Lunchtime Meetings

  The next meeting will be held on 7 June at the Friends of Iceland.

• 0706080 – Bright days, Seamen's Day and Midsummer's Festival in Hellisgerði on 23 June

  Report on the reception of the Days of Light and Labour Day, and the programme for the Midsummer Festival in Hellisgerði was presented.

• 0704009 – Miðhella 1, centre for artists

  A report presenting the matter was submitted. A drawing of 75 Strandgata, a building that Ingvar Guðmundsson intends to lease to the town as a facility for artists, was also submitted.

  The committee requests that a briefing meeting be held for those concerned, and that both options be considered.
