  The Representative for Democracy and Equality presented the revision of the Equality Barometer (a tool for measuring equality in municipalities), but the revision changes the internal ranking of individual municipalities and, according to According to the current Gender Equality Index, the City of Hafnarfjörður is ranked 5th nationally.
