  A proposal from Strending ehf. was presented to accept the offer from FenderTeam for the fender for Álgarður in Straumsvík.

  The Harbour Board unanimously agrees to accept the offer from FenderTeam.

  An interim management account for the first seven months of 2008 was presented.

• 0807053 – Harbour Conference 2008

  Programme for the Harbour Conference in Akureyri on 25 and 26 September.

• 0701138 – Future harbour area of Straumsvík.

  Review presentations that have been made on ideas for the future harbour area of Hafnarfjörður, west of Straumsvík.

  The Harbour Board agrees that the next step is to present these ideas to the Hafnarfjörður Town Council.

• 0703213 – A vision for a leisure marina in the fjord

  Review presentations on the initial drafts for a future leisure marina in Hafnarfjörður.

  The Harbour Board agrees to further work on the proposals and looks forward to recommendations from the Planning and Building Committee on the next steps in the matter.

• 0809168 – Óseyrarbraut 20 and 24

  Lease agreements for the plots at 20 and 24 Óseyrarbraut were presented.

  The Harbour Board agrees to instruct the Harbour Master, in cooperation with the harbour's solicitor, to review these lease agreements with regard to the terms of the contracts.

• 0702364 – 100th anniversary of the Port of Hafnarfjörður.

  The chairman of the anniversary committee reported on the preparations for events to mark the harbour's 100th anniversary next year.
