    • 0809118 – The Police in Hafnarfjörður, cooperation

      Til fundarins mætti Helgi Gunnarsson rannsóknarlögreglumaður hjá Höfuðborgarlögreglunn sem er með aðsetur í Hafnarfirði.%0DHelgi sagði upp koma allskonar mál, núna er verið að vinna með hóp foreldra barna sem voru í kannabiseyslu. Markmiði er að fá foreldranan til að styðja hvort annað og skapa börnunum j%0DÁstandið í Firði er búið að vera gott í vetur. Eitthvað hefur heyrst af málum í Hellisgerði og þarf að skoða það betur í samstarfi við bæjaryfirvöld. %0DMikið álag er á lögreglunni vegna starfsmannaskorts og stundum gengur illa að vinna að verkefnum sem eru forvarnaverkefni. %0DInnbrot í bænum eru í takt við síðustu ár, fjöldi glæpa er lítill miða við fólksfjölda, sama gildir um flesta málaflokka.%0DSamvinna við Hafnarfjarðarbæ og Litla hóp, samráðshóp um forvarnir, er með besta móti og upplýsingar streyma á milli aðila. %0DErfitt er að ná til þeirra sem halda heimapartý og koma þannig í veg fyrir slíkt.

      Forvarnanefndin hrósar lögreglunni fyrir upplýsingapóst sem sendur er til foreldra barna í grunnskóla. Þetta er árangursrík leið til styðja við forvarnastarf fjölskyldna.%0DNefndin leggur á það áherslu að samstarfið verður að vera áfram gott á milli aðila til að viðhalda þeim árangri sem náðst hefur.

    • 0809112 – Grants from the Prevention Fund

      The Prevention Fund recently awarded a grant for the establishment of a self-empowerment group for 16-year-olds and over, which will be run in the Old Library.,

      A representative of the Independence Party proposes that support for organisations engaged in preventative work should continue, using measurable outcomes from their projects as the justification for further financial support from the Prevention Fund.

    • 0809116 – Parents' stroll

      The prevention committee considers the parents' walk to be one of our most important prevention projects.

      The prevention officer is tasked with convening a collaborative meeting with the parent representatives who lead the walk, to support them.

    • 0801172 – Prevention Committee, Housing

      The Executive Council will formally hand over the new premises for Músik og mótor at Dalshrauni 10 on 11 September.

      The facility is considered a great success and provides young bands and motorsport enthusiasts with more space to pursue their interests. The Prevention Committee congratulates the staff and young people in Hafnarfjörður on the premises and thanks the Executive Board for a job well done.

    • 0809166 – The Outing Time

      In the autumn, the prevention committee focuses on introducing residents to the rules on curfews.

      Parents of Year 9 pupils will be sent a letter about the outdoor education period and our prevention focus. The letter will be accompanied by a magnet with the outdoor education rules.

    • 0808128 – The well-being and living conditions of young people in Hafnarfjörður, results of a 2008 study

      Due to a study from Rannsókn og greining which showed lower participation by girls in Year 9 and Year 10 in sports and youth activities.

      Forvarnanefnd tekur undir bókun Íþrótta- og tómstundanefndar frá 15. september:%0D%0DÍþrótta- og tómstundanefnd leggur til í samræmi við stefnumörkun um jafnréttismál að skipaður verðir starfshópur með fulltrúum frá ÍTH, ÍBH og Jafnréttis- og lýðræðisnefnd. Starfshópurinn samræmi aðgerðir með vísan til jafnréttisáætlunar ÍBH frá 2004 sem unnin var af jafnréttisnefnd ÍBH.

    • 0809117 – Prevention Committee's Action Plan

      The committee's action plan for the winter of 2008–2009 was presented. Projects were discussed, their links to the prevention policy were considered, and they were prioritised.
