  The prevention officer attended the meeting and presented the results of the 2008 'Hagir og líðan ungs fólks í Hafnarfirði' study.

  Íþrótta- og tómstundanefnd telur heildarniðurstöður vegna íþrótta- og tómstundariðkunar hjá unglingum í Hafnarfirði jákvæðar. Hins vegar er ástæða til að skoða vel minnkandi þátttöku stúlkna í íþrótta- og tómstundastarfi.%0DÍþrótta- og tómstundanefnd leggur til í samræmi við stefnumörkun um jafnréttismál að skipaður verði starfshópur með fulltrúum frá ÍTH, ÍBH og Jafnréttis- og lýðræðisnefnd. Starfshópurinn samræmi aðgerðir með vísan til jafnréttisáætlunar ÍBH frá 2004 sem unnin var af jafnréttisnefnd ÍBH.%0DNánar tekið fyrir á næsta fundi.

  Íþróttafulltrúi kynnti ráðningu Daníels Péturssonar í starf verkefnisstjóra íþróttamála. Helstu verkefni verkefnisstjóra eru m.a. samræming á rekstri sundlauga og umsjón með niðurgreiðslum vegna þátttöku í íþrótta- og tómstundastarfi barna og unglinga.%0DJafnframt hefur verið auglýst laust til umsóknar starf forstöðumanns Suðurbæjarlaugar.%0D

  The annual reports of the youth clubs for the 2007-2008 working year were presented for information.

  Presentation of the financial position of the youth and leisure department.

Applications

• 0809120 – Frístundir.is, grant application

  A proposal from fristundir.is, dated 9th September, has been submitted, requesting funding and cooperation for an information booklet in foreign languages about leisure activities in the capital region.

  The Sports and Leisure Committee agrees to grant the application kr. 100,000 and delegates the sports officer to finalise it.

• 0809130 – Darts, request for support

  A request from Arna Rut Guðlaugsdóttir (undated) has been submitted, requesting a grant for participation in the Nordic Championships last May.

  The Sports and Leisure Committee approves the granting of a grant in the amount of kr. 15,000 and instructs the Sports Officer to finalise the matter.
