• 0701303 – Campsite at Víðistaðatún

  A new service building has been erected near the scout centre and is being fitted out. The future of the campsite was discussed.

  The committee would like to meet with the scouts' representatives to discuss the future of the campsite.

• 0808017 – Film festival in Hafnarfjörður, grant application

  The cultural representative stated that the matter is being worked on, but it is clear that the Film Festival will have to be held partly at the Bæjarbíó.

• 0704069 – Cultural policy of the City of Hafnarfjörður. Review of the policy.

  A discussion was held on whether the review of the cultural policy could be linked to the citizens' assembly to be held in Hafnarfjörður this autumn. Steinunn Þorsteinsdóttir, the information officer, attended the meeting and went over the proposed agenda for the citizens' assembly.

  The committee agrees that the thematic categories of the citizens' assembly and the discussion about them will be of great use in revising the cultural policy.
