• 0702340 – Transport of a floating quay.

  The minutes of the 42nd work meeting on the transfer of the floating quay, together with a progress chart, were presented.

• 0703213 – Recreational boat facilities

  The first ideas for a vision of a recreational marina in Hafnarfjörður were presented. The harbour master presented ideas developed in consultation with Alark Architects, the Maritime Administration and Strending ehf.

  The Harbour Board welcomes this new vision for the small boat harbour, but it is clear that the existing Flensburg Harbour, which is already at full capacity, will need to be expanded. It therefore agrees to commission further promotional material for presentations to the Town Council and planning authorities.

• 0805038 – Port charges in Straumsvík.

  The harbour master presented the calculations for harbour charges in Straumsvík.

• 0701390 – The Multipurpose Workshop, Fisheries Department.

  The harbour master reviewed the situation regarding Fagraklett, the boat of the Blacksmith's Workshop.

• 0803001 – Hvaleyrarbraut 22, closure of part of the building

  A letter and an email from Sveinbjörn Finnsson and Pétur Jakobsson regarding the use of Hvaleyrarbraut 22 for residential purposes were presented.

  The Harbour Board agrees to refer this request, as a decision on this matter is outside its remit.

• 0806098 – Glacier World ehf, water purchase

  Mayor Ludvík Geirsson informed the Harbour Board of the status of negotiations between the City of Hafnarfjörður, the Port of Hafnarfjörður and the Hafnarfjörður Water Supply with representatives of GlacierWorld ehf. regarding the purchase of water and its export by the latter from Hafnarfjörður.

• 0709106 – New plot on Óseyrarbraut.

  A proposal for a new plot of land north of 31 Óseyrarbraut, which was submitted on 23 January 2008, was discussed.

  The Harbour Board agrees to formally finalise the layout of plot no. 33 at Óseyrarbraut, in accordance with the layout plan presented at the 1327th meeting of the Harbour Board on 23 January 2008.
