  It has been decided to hold a cultural forum where, among other things, cultural policy will be discussed. The forum is scheduled to take place in October or after the results of the Hafnarfjörður citizens' forum have been made available.

  It was decided to aim to award grants for arts and cultural activities and for building conservation on 13th March.

  A report has been requested from the committee.

  Menningar- og ferðamálanefnd fagnar tillögu um nýtt hótel í miðbæ Hafnarfjarðar. Nefndin hefur kynnt sér tillögu að deiliskipulagi og svæðið þar sem hótelið verður og gerir ekki athugasemdir. Nefndin áréttar þó að hugað sé að því að húsbyggingin falli vel að umhverfi og götumyndum Suðurgötu og Strandgötu.%0D
