      Forvarnafulltrúi fór yfir hvernig áramótaátakið heppnaðist. Lögregla hafði í kringum Gamlársnóttu örfá afskipti af ungu fólki og taldi áramótin vera með besta móti. Götuvitinn, útideild, varð lítið vör ungt fólk um nóttina. %0DForeldrafélög og aðilar sem starfa með börnum og unglingum í Hafnarfirði stóðu saman að fjölbreyttu átaki þar sem reynt var að fá fjölskyldur til að eyða áramótunum saman og tryggja það að stofnanir bæjarins bjóði upp á tómstundir í frítíma barnanna þrátt fyrir að skólastarf liggi niðri. %0D%0D

      Forvarnanefnd vill þakka öllum þeim sem lögðu átakinu lið fyrir framlagið og sérstaklega ber að þakka foreldrum og unglingum fyrir framlag þeirra. Knattspyrnufélaginu Haukum er sérstaklega þakkað fyrir góða framkvæmd við Þrettándabrennuna.%0D

      The Prevention Committee has established an action plan for each year. This is where projects are prioritised. The action plan is a living document and is subject to change annually, as it seeks to respond to emerging issues.

    • 0801172 – Housing for the projects of the Prevention Committee

      A crisis is looming in the housing situation for the groups that use the services provided by the Prevention Committee. It is essential to finalise the facilities for the youth bands as soon as possible and to consider long-term solutions for the Motorhouse and the Old Library.

    • 0801143 – Svavar Sigurðsson's National Initiative

      A request was submitted by Svavar Sigurðsson's National Initiative for a grant from the City of Hafnarfjörður for preventative projects and the purchase of equipment to strengthen border control around Iceland.

      The Prevention Committee requests to receive further information about the activities and annual accounts of the National Initiative.

    • 0711139 – Personnel matters

      On 9 January, the Family Council appointed managers and projects related to youth and prevention matters. The Prevention Officer now formally oversees Götuvitanum and Musik og Mótor.
