  For promotion.

  The Culture and Tourism Committee refers the draft budget for culture and tourism to the Family Council.;

• 09103143 – Culture and Tourism, Work Programme 2010

  Proposed for approval.

  Work plan approved, subject to amendments in accordance with the budget.;

• 0911603 – Grant application for a graduation exhibition at the Rhythmic Arts Department of the Witten-Annen Institute for Waldorf Pedagogy in Germany

  Referred to the committee's next grant-awarding session.;

• 0911597 – Hedgerows by national roads, grant application

  A proposal was submitted from the South Coast Tourist Board requesting a financial contribution from the City of Hafnarfjörður for a walking trail project. Furthermore, the city is asked to nominate a representative to work on the project with the tourism association, as the walking trails/old national roads partly pass through Hafnarfjörður's territory.

  A motion was tabled. The committee appoints Reynir Ingibjartsson to work on the project and gather further information about it.;

  Report on the opening of the Christmas Village and a successful weekend in the village.;
