• 0911534 – Hafnarfjörður Library, presentation of activities.

  An overview of the library's main projects, budget, year-on-year loan comparison, the extension of the Hafnarfjörður Library, and more.

• 0909221 – The Christmas Village 2009

  A report was given on the work on the Christmas village, and amendments were proposed concerning, among other things, opening hours. A report was given on the Christmas Village fundraising campaign and the Christmas game organised by the village and the tourism service.

  Also discussed was the Christmas Village in Reykjavík, and it was reported that the Municipality of Hafnarfjörður has applied for a patent on the use of the name 'Christmas Village', which has become established in the 7 years since the Christmas Village was founded.;

• 0911529 – Throsts, request for funding

  A grant application was submitted concerning the 100th anniversary of the Karlakórinn Þrastur in 2012, proposing that a monument be erected in honour of the composer Friðrik Bjarni Bjarnason.

  The committee welcomes the proposal and requests further details and the grant amount.;

• 09103143 – Culture and Tourism, Work Programme 2010

  The plan was presented.

  The matter was discussed and it was decided to look into it further at the next meeting.;
