      The Town Council confirms the pending lease agreements.;

    • 0712004 – Police bylaws, regulations

      The acting town solicitor attended the meeting and presented the first draft of a new police by-law for the Borough of Hafnarfjörður.

      The Town Council requests a report from the Family, Education, Works and Planning and Building Committees.  

      Furthermore, the Town Council instructs the acting town solicitor to enter into discussions with the Capital Region Police regarding stop-and-search powers.

  • 0805023 – State Forestry in Kapelluhraun, contract

    A new ruling of the Valuation Commission for Compensation for Expropriation of 23 October 2009 is under consideration.

  • 0701088 – Rules of procedure for general ballots and opinion polls.

    Draft revised procedural rules on public ballots and opinion polls were presented. The acting town solicitor outlined the drafts.

  • 0911200 – Christmas tree to Hafnarfjörður from Frederiksberg 2009

    A communication from Frederiksberg Municipality in Denmark, dated 31 October 2009, was presented, announcing that the twin town will, as ever, send the people of Hafnarfjörður a Christmas tree.

    The Town Council extends its best thanks to Frederiksberg for its kindness.;

    Lagt fram erindi Sambands íslenskra sveitarfélaga dags. 9. nóvember 2009 þar sem minnt er á að sveitarfélög skulu skv. 2. mgr. 19. gr. laga nr. 94/1986 um kjarasamninga opinberra starfsmanna birta skrá yfir þá starfsmenn sem ekki hafa verkfallsheimild.%0DLögð fram tillaga starfsmannastjóra að slíkri skrá.

    The budget for Strætó bs for the year 2010, as approved at the meeting of the consortium's board on 4 November 2009, was presented.

    The Town Council refers the matter to the 2010 budget process.;

  • 0911501 – Ottarsstaðir, judgment

    Report on the judgment of the Reykjavík District Court of 12 November 2008 in case E-5373/2008.

    • 0911141 – Álfhella 11, allotment conveyance

      The application from Kofra ehf. and Breki ehf. dated 4 November 2009, requesting the surrender of the aforementioned plot, was presented.

      The Town Council requests a report from the Department of Planning and Building.;

    • 0911058 – Breiðhella 2, plot for HS Veitur

      Application from HS Veitur hf, dated 28.10.2009, for a plot of land for a distribution station at Breiðhellu 2 was presented.

      The Town Council requests a report from the Department of Planning and Building.;

    • 0905099 – Fléttuvellir 6, request for plot enlargement

      The application from Kristinn Frantz Eriksson for an extension to the above-mentioned plot is being reconsidered.

      The Town Council proposes to the Municipal Council:“The Hafnarfjörður Town Council approves the allocation to Kristinn Frantz Eriksson of a 200 m² extension to the plot at Fléttuvellir 6, in accordance with the available documentation and the further conditions of the Planning and Building Department. As construction is not permitted on the said plot, no streetworks charge will be levied.“;

      A proposal from the Association of the Deaf, dated 1 November 2009, requesting a grant for the association's 50th anniversary, was presented.

    • 0911463 – Mother's Allowance Committee, grant application 2009

      A request from the Mother's Allowance Committee of Hafnarfjörður, dated 15 November 2009, is presented, requesting a grant for the committee's Christmas distribution.

      The Town Council approves a grant of kr. 500,000 to be taken from the Town Council's appropriation under accounting code 21-815 for grants.;
