  A proposal from the Appeals Committee for amended rules on the allocation of social housing by the City of Hafnarfjörður and special housing benefit was presented.

  The Family Council agrees to recommend to the City Council: “The City Council of Hafnarfjörður approves the proposed amendments to the regulations on the allocation of social rental housing by the City of Hafnarfjörður and special housing benefit.“;

Applications

• 0908131 – Deafblind, interpreting service

  A request for a grant of kr. 300,000 for interpreting services in cultural and leisure activities in 2010, submitted by the Communication Centre for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing on 12 August, was presented.

  The Family Council is unable to comply with the request.;

Introduction

• 0907109 – Association of professionals in leisure services

  A letter from the Association of Professionals in Leisure Services, dated 15 July, was presented, calling on the local council to safeguard the activities of youth clubs and leisure centres for children and young people.
