    • 0805163 – The Work Experience Scheme and Summer Jobs for Young People

      The meeting will present the Family Council's decision from 13th May regarding the summer work school and a youth employment initiative.

      The Town Council welcomes the Family Council's proposal and refers the funding to the budget review. Furthermore, the Town Council authorises the managers of the Work Experience Programme to pursue their proposals and elaborate on them in more detail.;

      The submission from Guðrún Kristín Magnúsdóttir, sent by email on 28 April, regarding the free roaming of cats is presented.

      The Town Council refers the request of the Environment Committee/Local Agenda 21.;

    • 0811157 – Titan Global ehf, plot for a data centre

      A proposal from Titan Global ehf, dated 6 May 2009, has been submitted, requesting discussions regarding the financial aspects and terms for a plot of land in Kapelluhrauni.

      The Town Council refers the matter to the Mayor and for the consideration of the Planning and Building Department.;

      The Town Council approved the proposed waivers for its part, with reference to the report of the Planning and Building Department, with the exception of the waiver for the plot at Klukkuvellir 1, and recommends to the Town Council:“The Hafnarfjörður Town Council confirmed the decision regarding the conveyances in item 11 of the Town Council's minutes from 14 May.“

      The waiver for the Klukkuvellir 1 plot is denied with reference to Articles 7 and 8 of the procedures regarding plot waivers.
