A timetable of time allocations for ÍBH for the 2009-2010 year in the sports halls of Hafnarfjörður was presented. The allocated times total just over 30,000 when the summer and winter allocations are combined. The main changes from last year are that sessions at Ásvallalaug are now fully allocated, and that sessions in the Hraunvallaskóli sports hall are now allocated for a full term.

The Head of Youth and Leisure Services reported on the status of applications received for summer jobs for 17-year-olds and over. A discussion regarding the pay for 14- to 16-year-olds in the summer jobs was also reported.
The Sports and Leisure Committee proposes that there will be no pay rises for this age group, in order to create the capacity to hire more staff aged 17 and over.

The Director of Youth and Leisure Services announced that the final of the ÍTH quiz competition, „Do You Know the Answer“, will take place in the Flensborg School hall on 1st April. Víðistaðaskóli and Setbergsskóli will go head-to-head. The competition can be followed on the Hafnarfjörður website and will also be broadcast on Hafnarfjörður Radio.
