• 0902238 – Executive Department, Tendering Powers 2009

  The Operations Department requests authorisation to commence the preparation of tenders for the 2009 project plan, in accordance with the approved financial authorisations.

  Halldór Ingólfsson attends the meeting and presents the matter. The Executive Board authorises the commencement of tender preparation in accordance with the 2009 implementation plan.;

  Ishmael David attends the meeting and presents the matter. The Executive Board authorises the Operations Department to enter into a contract with the lowest bidder, The Mörk Nursery.;

• 0902022 – Grindavík Seltún, septic tank and toilet

  A submission from the Office of Tourism and Cultural Affairs regarding the toilets at Seltún was presented. The submission was referred back by the Planning and Building Officer on 11 February.

  Ishmael David reviewed the cost estimate and submitted a report on the costs. The Executive Council is not in a position to proceed with the project due to the costs and various technical issues.;

• 0803156 – Mowing in Hafnarfjörður 2008-2010, contract

  A letter from Draumagarður ehf dated 9 February was presented.

  The Executive Council welcomes the application and will process it in the autumn of 2009.;

• 0803116 – Sewerage, regulation/by-law

  A letter from the Ministry of the Environment, dated 6 February, was presented.

  The Executive Committee directs the Department of Planning and Building to ensure that the regulation comes into force. The project manager is tasked with introducing the relevant regulation to the parties concerned.;

• 0902261 – Property Maintenance

  The Director of the Property Association reviews nursery maintenance issues and the maintenance programme.

  Postponed until the next meeting.;

• 0902262 – Hafnarfjörður Shooting Club electrical and water connections

  A letter from the Hafnarfjörður Shooting Sports Association, dated 27 January 2009, was presented.

  Referred to the Sports Representative and the Sports and Leisure Committee for comment.;

• 0902263 – Hraunbúar Scout Association, Hraunbyrgi maintenance.

  A letter from the Hraunbúar Scout Group regarding the maintenance of Hraunbyrgi was presented.

  The Executive Council requests a report from the Property Society, the Sports and Leisure Committee, and the Family Department.;

• 0705184 – Ásvellir, working group

  The minutes of working group no. 22 were presented. It was also proposed that the executive board approve item 4 of the minutes of meeting 22, a temporary tattoo.

  The Executive Committee refers the matter to the Sports and Leisure Committee for consideration.;

• 0802207 – Capital Region Fire and Rescue Service, Procedures for Occasional Entertainment

  Reports were submitted regarding the gymnastic equipment.

  The Executive Board welcomes the fact that these reports have been submitted for Ásvellir and the Strandgata Sports Hall.;

• 0706284 – Leik- and Grunnskóli við Bjarkavelli

  Review the status of the work.

• 0702004 – Swimming Centre at Völlum, construction

  Review the status of the work.

  The Director of the Property Association reviewed the status of the project. The Chairman of the Executive Board presented a memorandum regarding Ásvallalaugar. In light of the memorandum from the Chairman of the Executive Board, we, the representatives of the Independence Party, request answers to the following: 1. An overview of all invoices, including amounts and dates?

  2. The construction index at the time of the contract and in February 2009?

  3. How much remains to be spent, in millions of króna?

  4. What is the estimated cost of the proposed outdoor area?

  5. Where did the funding for the project come from: loan capital or cash from operations, and in what proportions?
