General presentations

• 1003439 – Breiðvangur 40 - Fence to Engidalsskóli

  Correspondence between the plot holder of Breiðvangur 40 and the Property Association regarding the fence on the boundary between the plot of Breiðvangur 40 and Engidalsskóli was presented.

  The Executive Council endorses the working procedures of the Executive Department.;

  Gerður Guðjónsdóttir, Finance Director, attends the meeting and presents a comparison of costs for private contracts and own assets, as per the minutes of the Executive Board, No. 106.

  The Executive Council thanks Gerði, the Finance Manager, for the presentation.;

• 0701248 – Hamranes, landscaping area

  To be discussed.

  Ishmael David attended the meeting and outlined the procedures of the Health Authority regarding the landscaping area in Hamranes. It was also reported that the Waste Service at Berghellu and Sorpa in Breiðhellu accept organic waste, such as tree waste.;

• 1003143 – Kaldárbotnar to South Harbour, water pipeline

  A report from the Executive Department, dated 25 March 2010, was presented.

  Dagur Jónsson presented the report from the Executive Services Department, and the Executive Council approved it.;

• 0703337 – Drainage system, connection to Garðabær

  A letter from the Director of the Executive Services Department, dated 15 February 2010, was presented regarding the Executive Board's minutes of 1 February 2010.

  The Executive Committee calls for clear answers from the municipal authorities in Garðabær regarding the agreement and settlement on sewerage matters from Kauptún and Garðahraun 2, and agrees to reiterate the letter from the Director of the Construction Department of 12th. February 2010. The claim concerns tens of millions of krónur from the City of Hafnarfjörður against the Municipality of Garðabær, and the matter has been under discussion since 2004.;

• 0702036 – Kaplakrika Sports Hall, construction works

  Minutes of work meetings concerning Club Facility No. 61 and the Athletics Hall No. 37 were presented. The minutes of the Building Committee, Nos. 69 and 70, were also presented.
