• 1001243 – Bright Days 2010

  The first draft of the programme for the Bright Days and Seamen's Day has been presented. The Bright Days will be held from 2 to 6 June and will conclude with celebrations on Seamen's Day.

• 1003214 – Hraunbúar Scout Association, agreement regarding the first day of summer 2010

  An agreement with the Hraunbúar Scout Association was presented, but as in previous years, the association, in consultation with the Office of Culture and Tourism, the Seamans' Day Council and the Hafnarfjörður Rescue Squad, will organise the programme on the first of May.

• Meetings with tourism companies in Hafnarfjörður

  The agenda for the meeting with the travel industry in Hafnarfjörður on 24 March has been submitted. The board of the city centre association is also invited to the meeting.

• 1003413 – Viking Festival 11th-20th June

  It has been announced that the Viking Festival will be held as in previous years at the Fjörukrána.

  The festival is ten years old and, to mark the occasion, will run for longer than before, from 11th to 20th June.;
