  A general overview of the situation in this matter was given. It was agreed to discuss it at a later date.;

• 1003002 – Alleged support for VOOV's flotilla.

  Hafnarfjarðarhöfn has received a communication from the Njarðvík Shipyard concerning the Industry Association's complaint to the Competition Authority regarding Vestmannaeyjar Municipality's planned participation in the restoration of the Vestmannaeyjar ship lift, In this, Vestmannaeyjar municipality is urging Hafnarfjörður Harbour to cover the costs of operating the floating caissons of Vélsmiðja Orms og Víglundar ehf., by granting discounts on fees and facilities, such as electricity, etc.

  The Harbour Board agrees to send a letter to the Competition Authority regarding the matter.;

• 1003018 – Seafarers' Day 2010

  A memorandum from the harbourmaster regarding Seafarers' Day 2010 was presented.

  The Harbour Board has agreed to support the Seamen's Union of Hafnarfjörður for the upcoming Seamen's Day celebrations, and it was also agreed that the Port of Hafnarfjörður will not be taking part in the promotional material for the Festival of the Sea on this occasion.;

• 0912129 – Óseyrarbraut 1b, application for plot consolidation

  To reconsider the application from Fylkir ehf for the plot at Óseyrarbraut 1b to be merged with Óseyrarbraut 1, after the town council referred the matter back to the harbour board.

  It was agreed to instruct the harbour master to work on the matter in more detail in cooperation with the planning and building officer.;
