• 10023348 – Ash Wednesday entertainment 2010

  An Ash Wednesday party was held at Thorsplan on 17th February. Four barrels were knocked over and an ash-bag competition was held. Prizes were awarded for the 5 best bags. Ingó veðurguð ended the entertainment with a song, and cocoa and waffles were served in the Red Cross building.

• 10021128 – Youth centres, events 2010

  The Director of Youth and Leisure reported on the very successful ÍTH Primary School Festival, which was held on 11th February in the Sports Hall by Strandgata.

• 10023391 – Multidisciplinary Department, Project

  The Director of Youth and Leisure Affairs reviewed the arrangements, priorities, staffing matters and grant applications concerning the collaboration project between ÍTH and Lækjarskóli on the Multidisciplinary Department.

• 10023346 – Application for the 15th UMFÍ National Youth Championships, advertisement

  A notice regarding the UMFÍ National Youth Championships, to be held in 2012, was presented for information.

• 10021120 – ÍBH, Athletes' Fund, grant awards.

  The Sports Representative provided, for information, an overview of the ÍBH member clubs that received a grant from the Íþróttabandalag Hafnarfjarðar's High-Performance Fund on 18th February. The total allocation from the High Performance Fund for 2009 was also reviewed, and it was noted that a total of just over 10 million was allocated to high performance sports during the year.

• 0901163 – Other matters 2010, ITH

  A representative of the Hafnarfjörður Youth Council provided information about the preparations for a youth parliament, which will be held in March next year at Setbergsskóli. Support is requested from ÍTH regarding catering.

  The Sports and Leisure Committee instructs the Head of Youth and Leisure Services to take the matter forward.

  The minutes of the working group on the development of the FH area, held on 11 February, are presented for information.
