  A motion was submitted by Ellý Erlingsdóttir on 17 February 2010, in which she requests to be relieved of her duties as an elected councillor and as council leader due to changed circumstances.

  The Town Board proposes to the Town Council: “The Town Council of Hafnarfjörður resolves that Ellý Erlings Erlingsdóttir be relieved of her duties with effect from 24 February 2010 until the end of the term of office.“;

  Report on changes to councils and committees and the election of new representatives.

  The election was referred to the town council.;

• 10021384 – Municipal Loan Fund, loan status

  A proposal from the Municipal Loan Fund dated 24 January 2010 was presented, requesting that the local council grant a general authorisation for the fund to publish information on the status of loans held by it.

  The Town Council proposes to the City Council: ““Hereby, the City Council of Hafnarfjörður, with reference to Article 60 of the Act No. 11/2002 on financial undertakings, to the Local Authorities“ Loan Fund to disclose information about the City of Hafnarfjörður's loans with the fund publicly and to investors, including information on the borrower's name, the purpose of the loan, the loan's status, the term of the loan and other terms. The information is disclosed for the purpose of providing investors with the best possible overview of the lender's loan portfolio and activities, and this disclosure will primarily take place in data from the lender, such as in annual accounts, interim reports, investor presentations and anniversary publications.";

  The Head of Personnel presented the findings of the work on streamlining personnel matters.

  The Town Council agrees to appoint sworn expert valuers to assess the value of the land. The incumbent town solicitor is tasked with following up on the matter.;

  The Town Council instructs the acting town solicitor to process the submitted comments.;

• 1001275 – Hafnarfjörður Rescue Squad, housing matters

  A draft memorandum of understanding between the City of Hafnarfjörður and Björgunarsveitin and Hraunprýði, dated February 2010, was presented. The Executive Board referred the matter to the City Council for approval at its meeting on 15 February.

  The Town Council proposes to the City Council: “The City Council of Hafnarfjörður approves the attached letter of intent between the City of Hafnarfjörður and Björgunarsveitin and Hraunprýði, dated February 2010.“;

  The Town Council instructs the Finance Director and the Mayor to work towards a resolution of the matter, with reference to the oversight committee's report.;

  Lagður fram samningur Vinnumálastofnunar og Hafnarfjarðarbæjar um stofnun og rekstur atvinnumiðstöðvar í Hafnarfirði. Lögð fram bókun í fjölskylduráði 17. febrúar.%0DSviðstjóri fjölskyldusviðs mætti til fundarins vegna málsins og lagði fram svör við fyrirspurn sem fram komu á fundi fjölskylduráðs í gær 17. febrúar.
