• 10021118 – The Lifelong Leap - an educational and motivational project by the IOC.

  The programme for the Lífshlaupið educational and motivational project, organised by the Icelandic Sports Federation, was presented for information.

  The Sports and Leisure Committee encourages workplaces, schools and businesses in Hafnarfjörður to take part in the project.

• 10021116 – Welfare indicators in sports clubs, results of an online survey.

  In November 2009, the Sports Representative presented the results of an online survey of sports associations, conducted by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The aim of the survey was to examine whether there had been changes in their operations following the economic crash.

• 1002705 – Bright Days 2010, sports hall

  A request has been submitted from the Office of Cultural Affairs to waive the rent for the sports hall on Strandgata for the Bjartra Dagar festival.

  The Sports and Leisure Committee approves the application and delegates its processing to the Sports Officer.

• 10021131 – Extracurricular activities in primary schools, Year 4 pupils

  This is a project offering after-school courses for children in Year 4. The project has been a success at Hraunvallaskóli, with pupils and parents being very pleased with the initiative. Áslandsskóli and Lækjarskóli have now joined the scheme and will be offering courses in the coming days.

  Hrollur fór fram 27. jan. s.l. en hér er um sameiginlegan viðburð félagsmiðstöðva að ræða þar sem þemað er kuldi og er framkvæmdin í höndum Ássins. Um metaðsókn var að ræða.%0DSöngkeppni félagsmiðstöðva fór fram í Hrauninu þann 22. janúar s.l. fyrir fullu húsi og tóku 14 atriði þátt. Bjarki frá Setrinu bar sigur úr býtum en þrjú lið frá Hafnarfirði taka þátt í landskeppninni sem fram fer í Laugardagshöllinni þann 21. febrúar n.k.%0DGrunnskólahátíð íth er í fullum undirbúningi en hátíðin fer fram í Íþróttahúsinu v/ Strandgötu 11. febrúar n.k.
