  The Director of Youth and Leisure Services reported on the start of the spring term activities at the youth centres. A summary of the joint events taking place during the spring term was also presented.

  A discussion was held about the sports and awards ceremony, which was held on Tuesday, 29th December, in the sports hall by Strandgata, attended by a large crowd. All those who became Icelandic, Cup and Nordic champions with sports clubs from Hafnarfjörður were honoured. In addition, the Sportsperson of the Year 2009 for Hafnarfjörður and the Sports Team of the Year 2009 were also named.
