The programme for the celebration, to be held in the Sports Hall on Strandgata on Thursday, 29th December, is presented. at 18:00. In total, around 569 Icelandic champions, 11 teams of Cup winners, and 6 individuals will be honoured for their World and Nordic Championship titles. Acknowledgement grants will also be awarded to sports clubs for Icelandic and Cup Championship titles in the top divisions, totalling 11 groups, and for distribution of kr. 3,300,000$line$Tenominations of high-achieving athletes and selection of the Sportsman, Sportswoman and Sports Team of the Year.$line$

1011080 – Hafnarfjörður Sports Festival 2011
The Sports and Leisure Committee approves the nomination of the 2011 Hafnarfjörður Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year, and of the outstanding performers from the sports clubs in Hafnarfjörður who have excelled during the year. Also approved is the nomination for the 2011 Sports Team of the Year. It is attached on a separate sheet and sent to the Family Council for consideration.
