Part A of building permits

• 1111390 – Kirkjuvellir 9, balcony enclosure, building permit

  The residents' association of Kirkjuvöllum 9 applies on 30.11.11 to enclose the balcony with glazing. Also to extend the timber walls in front of the private use area in accordance with drawings by Gunnar Páll Kristinsson dated 20.11.11. The owner's signature is attached.

  The Planning and Building Officer approves the building plans in accordance with Article 11 of the Building Act no. 160/2010. A building permit will be issued once the conditions of clauses 1-4 of Article 13 of the Building Act have been fulfilled.$line$1. The structure and its use are in accordance with the area's planning schemes.$line$2. The main and specialist drawings have been reviewed and the granting authority has endorsed them to confirm approval.$line$3. Building permit fees and other required charges have been paid, such as the road development fee in accordance with the provisions of the Road Development Fee Act, and the parking fee or fee for planning work in accordance with the provisions of the Planning Act, or an agreement has been made regarding their payment. However, this does not apply to fees that are not due for payment until the building permit is issued.$line$4. The building supervisor has signed a declaration of their responsibility and submitted to the licensing authority a signed declaration of responsibility from the tradesmen who will be responsible for individual parts of the work.

Part B: Organisational Matters

• 1112002 – Ishelli 8, temporary permit for a container.

  By email dated 30.11.11, Promens Tempra requests a position permit for a container at Ishellan 8, where organic solvents will be stored.

  The Planning and Building Officer requests a report from the Health Authority for the Hafnarfjörður and Kópavogur area.

• 1011349 – Óseyrarbraut 40A, stage of construction and use

  Óseyrarbraut 40A is registered as bst 4 mst 8, despite the house appearing to be fully built and in use. Neither a certificate of habitability nor a final inspection has been issued for the house.

  The planning and building officer requires the owner to apply for a certificate of occupancy within four weeks.

• 1112028 – HFJ Rescue Squad. Sign placement 2011

  The HFJ Rescue Squad is applying to place 13 signs at various locations around the town from 10 December to 10 January.

  The Planning and Building Officer approves the application on the condition that they are securely secured against wind and weather. The Municipality of Hafnarfjörður accepts no liability for any damage that may result from them.

• 1112062 – Hjallabraut 55. classrooms

  The building has for the most part been brought into compliance with the local plan, see however the attached comments. The Planning and Building Officer postpones the matter and directs the applicant to seek the opinion of the Capital Region Fire and Rescue Service and the Helibase Supervision for the Hafnarfjörður and Kópavogur area.
