Part A of building permits

• 1111218 – Hörgsholt 23 a,b change to the registration table

  Enok Jón Kjartansson and Hrannar Sigurðsson apply on 17 November 2011 to alter the register in accordance with drawings by Sigurður Þorleifsson, dated November 2011.

  The Planning and Building Officer approves the application in accordance with Article 11 of the Buildings Act no. 160/2010.

• 1110251 – Dalshraun 15, alteration

  Fylkir ehf applies on 21/10/2011 for a change to the internal layout of the basement and ground floor. An application is also being made for an increase in the height of the fence to the north of the house and for a light timber cladding to the main entrance and the cellar entrance, in accordance with drawings by Orri Árnason dated 14.10.2011. Consent from the owner was also received, see documents. New drawings with neighbours' consent and a stamp from the fire brigade were received on 18.11.11.

  The Planning and Building Officer approves the application in accordance with Article 11 of the Buildings Act no. 160/2010.

• 1111236 – Sólvangsvegur 2, amendment to the building permit

  State Property Department, 18.11.11, requests the addition of an escape route from the dining hall. Signs amended in consultation with fire design. Drawn by Thórvarður L. Björgvinsson, dated 10.11.11.

  The Planning and Building Officer approves the application in accordance with Article 11 of the Building Regulations Act no. 160/2010.

• 1111158 – Klukkuvellir 10 Building permit

  Haghús ehf. is applying to build a single-storey terraced house at Klukkuvellir 10, in accordance with drawings by Jón Hrafn Hlöðversson dated 09.11.11. New drawings were received on 18.11.11.

  The Planning and Building Officer approves the building plans in accordance with Article 11 of the Building Regulations No. 160/2010. A building permit will be issued once the conditions of paragraphs 1-4 of Article 13 of the Building Regulations have been fulfilled.

• 1111159 – Klukkuvellir 12, Building permit

  Haghús ehf. is applying to build a single-storey terraced house at Klukkuvellir 12, in accordance with drawings by Jón Hrafn Hlöðverson dated 09.11.11. New drawings were received on 18.11.11.

  The Planning and Building Officer approves the building plans in accordance with Article 11 of the Building Regulations No. 160/2010. A building permit will be issued once the conditions of paragraphs 1-4 of Article 13 of the Building Regulations have been fulfilled.

• 1111161 – Klukkuvellir 14, Building permit

  Haghús ehf. is applying to build a single-storey terraced house at Klukkuvellir 14, according to drawings by Jón Hrafn Hlöðversson dated 09.11.11. New drawings were received on 18.11.11.

• 1111162 – Klukkuvellir 16, Building permit

  Haghús ehf. is applying to build a single-storey terraced house at Klukkuvöllar 16, according to drawings by Jón Hrafn Hlöðversson dated 09.11.11. New drawings were received on 18.11.11.

• 1111163 – Klukkuvellir 18, Building permit

  Haghús ehf. is applying to build a single-storey terraced house at Klukkuvöllar 18, in accordance with drawings by Jón Hrafn Hlöðverson dated 09.11.11. New drawings were received on 18.11.11.

  The Planning and Building Officer approves the building plans in accordance with Article 11 of the Building Regulations No. 160/2010. A building permit will be issued once the conditions of paragraphs 1-4 of Article 13 of the Building Regulations have been fulfilled.

• 1106239 – Hvammabraut 2, site for a distribution station

  The Planning and Building Committee approved on 20 September 2011 that a change to the Hvammam detailed plan be advertised in accordance with section 43 of the Planning Act no. 123/2010. The proposal was advertised with a comment period until 18 November 2011. No comments were received.

  The Planning and Building Officer approves the application and that the processing will be concluded in accordance with Section 42 of the Planning Act No. 123/2010.

Part B: Organisational Matters

• 1111183 – Hraunstígur 5 and 7, plot 02 registration and use

  On 2 May 2001, the building control officer approved the construction of garages for building no. 02 at 5 and 7 Hraunstígur. Building no. 02 is registered as 'under construction' in the land registry, but aerial photographs show that they are fully completed. The last recorded inspection was of the walls on the 1st floor on 8 August 2001.

  The planning and building officer is requiring the owners to apply for a certificate of habitability for the garages within three weeks, followed by a final inspection.

• 1111231 – Öldugata 35, registration of building part 02 garage and extension 01.

  On 25 October 2006, the building control officer approved the construction of a garage (MHL 02) at house no. 35 Öldugata and alterations to the roof, etc. The last recorded inspection was a site inspection when the building surveyor left the project, along with the master craftsmen. It is then noted that the loft conversion has not been inspected.

  The planning and building officer is requiring the owners to apply for a certificate of habitability for the garages within three weeks, followed by a final inspection.

• 1111245 – Ring roller 2. Steypustöðin ehf.

  Ringwall 2. Steypustöðin ehf.

  The Planning and Building Officer requests information within two weeks regarding the operating licence of Steypustöðvarinnar ehf, in accordance with the Building Regulations No. 441/1998, section 131.10. Please see the attached comments.

• 1111248 – Copper Plate 1. The Borg Casting Station.

  Copper Slab 1. The Borg Concrete Plant.

  The Planning and Building Officer requests information within two weeks regarding the operating licence of the Borg Concrete Batching Plant, in accordance with section 131.10 of the Building Regulations No. 441/1998. Please see the attached comments.

• 1109156 – Suðurgata 72 illegal works

  Illegal alterations have been reported in the basement of the house at 72 Suðurgata. The flat marked 01-0001, permanent number 2079787 (a 9.81% share of the entire property), will be registered as the property of Björn Sigtryggsson, personal number 3T3T. 151154-5657. Interview 21/09/2011, 0001 has been divided into two rooms for letting.

  The Planning and Building Officer requires the owner of the space to remove the unauthorised works within three weeks. Failure to comply with this notice will result in the planning and building officer imposing a daily fine in accordance with Article 56 of the Building Regulations Act no. 160/2010.

• 1111255 – Klukkuvellir 20-26, change to the detailed plan

  The architectural practice Kollgáta, on behalf of Brynja, the housing fund of the Disabled Persons' Association of Iceland, requests, by letter dated 14.11.11, the planning authority's opinion on an exemption or an amendment to the detailed plan for the R8 terraced houses.

  The proposal did not conform with the area's planning. The Planning and Building Officer is favourable to an amendment to the local plan, should an application be submitted.

• 1111190 – 36 Austurgata, change to the registration table.

  Gunnar Guðmundsson and Harpa Lind Hilmarsdóttir apply on 16.11.11 for a change to the registration table. In accordance with drawings by Erlendur Á. Hjálmarsson dated 07.11.11.

  The Planning and Building Officer has deferred the matter as the submitted documents are insufficient. Please see the attached comments.
