    • 1109066 – SSH Future Group, waste collection

      Report of the working group on waste collection, 26 October 2011.

      The Environment and Operations Committee approves the report and refers it to the Town Council.

    • 1110306 – Electricity purchase for the Municipality of Hafnarfjörður.

      Electricity purchase for the town of Hafnarfjörður discussed.

      The situation was reviewed.

    • 1110182 – Bus company, route network changes 2012

      The letter from Strætó bs dated 14 September 2011 regarding work on the 2012 route changes was presented. A representative from Strætó will attend the meeting.

      The Environment and Operations Committee thanks the presentation and a special meeting will be held on the transport network in Hafnarfjörður.

    • 1110307 – Bus, new stop

      Consideration of a request to review the addition of bus stops on Ásbraut. The opinion of Strætó bs. was presented.

      The Environment and Operations Committee agrees that a new bus stop will be installed at Kirkjuvellir on Ásbraut.

    • 0701248 – Hamranes, landscaping area

      To be discussed.

      The Environment and Operations Committee agrees to terminate the contract with Garðabær for the operation of the soil tip from 17 October 1991.

    • 1110157 – Kapelluhrauni storage area, road construction and fees

      Ástvaldur Óskarsson puts forward a question on behalf of Geymslusvæðisins ehf regarding who is to be responsible for roadworks and the construction of utility networks, and how the charges will be structured. Anna Jörgensdóttir, from the legal team at Hafnarfjörður Municipality, reviews the matter.

      The Environment and Operations Committee instructs the Director of Services to speak with the enquirer.
